Raven's Ait Back to Community?

Raven's Ait Back to Community?

Due to the growing interest in the feature of small Surrey island in Kingston/Surbiton we decided to set up new forum topic and poll regarding future of Raven's Ait this subject. We believe that idea of having this island back to community is a great idea. The other issue in this argument is squatting. Controversial but effective weapon in this fight for public space with council. However I am sure that squatting for most of the property owners means big problems.
What is your idea for future of this island?
Let us know what you think about squatting?

Calendar of events:

70s - 90s island is occupied by different public institutions (Sea Cadets, ILEA etc)
90s – December 2008 - Ravens Ait Hall Management Company Ltd – Wedding Organisers from Surrey with Wedding managed island
February 2009 - Island owned by Borough Council was Taken over by Group of Squatters
March – April 2009 - RAVEN’S AIT Eco Conference Centre is established (ravensait.org.uk) and campaign which supposed to bring back island to community is launched.
