Four Surrey Villages are 'millionaire villages'

According to research conducted by the real estate advisor Savills four of the top ten 'millionaire villages' named are located in Surrey. The list was based on how many property sales of over £1 million occurred in villages across the UK over the past 4 years.
The top spot was claimed by East Horsley, West Clandon came in seventh Bramley was ninth and Wonersh in tenth with 46, 24, 22 and 21 properties sold over £1 million respectively.
Some of the top figures may seen low for sales in four years, however only villages were included in the final count. Larger towns such as Virginia Water had 125 sales of over £1 million, but it was considered to have outgrown the 'village' label.
