Criminals Didn't Use Spell Check

Illiterate criminals have sparked warnings from Surrey County Council Trading Standards after they misspelt Australia on hundreds of counterfeit bottles of Jacob's Creek wine.

Twenty bottles of the fake wine have been seized in Surrey alone in the past month, however they have also been found in London, Reading and Brighton.

The bottles can be easily spotted as the back label claims it is wine of 'Austrlia' and is sold for about £2 a bottle rather than the usual £10.

The fake wine has been tested and shown no health hazards, however consumers are urged not to buy it as any profits of counterfeit products fund organised crime, and it doesn't taste very nice!

Have you seen any counterfeit products on sale in Surrey, let us know about it in the forum.
