The
Surrey County Show takes place on the 25th May.
The County Show has got a range of thrills and events from all over Surrey. This year TV star
Katy Cropper will be showing off her famed sheepdog herding.
Of course, no County Show would be complete without a
farmers market. Which is providing foods, jams, chutneys and drinks all made and produced locally. So you can get a true taste of Surrey.
While there's a lot of animal events at the show, the
Grand Prix Show Jumping is one of the largest attractions where horse riders tackle obstacles and fierce competition. With a prize of £6000 for the winner we're expecting an exciting showdown.
One of the brightest moments of spring is all the flowers and plants that blossom. The
Floristry competition promises to be full of both except there's a twist, all plants must comply with the County Show theme. The
Curtis PCT and a commemorative shield will be awarded to winners alongside cash prizes.
Provided the weather holds out for Surrey. There will be a huge hot air balloon challenge at the end of the day. Where a
mass of hot air balloons will be launched which is an impressive sight to see at this County Show.
While we've mentioned Spring and what it offers Surrey we wouldn't have some of the great sights without the
woodland and forestry conservations. There will be an exhibit committed to conversation efforts within in Surrey. Which for any interested in Surrey's surroundings in worth a visit. Speaking of surroundings we at surrey-online have also taken a look into the sights and history of
Stoke park, the host of the County Show.
This years county show is set to bigger and better than last year. And will celebrate everything Surrey has to offer.
