Time to Vote for... - Surrey

We are connected more to local Surrey community than any other Internet service. Over next few days we are going to provide platform for all parties and surrey people to exchange their views on elections and candidates. Please use our forum to express your political feelings and action plans for community. Use Surrey-Online to communicate with your voters. Let people understand what you are about in these elections.

We have here communications platform - special part of the forum for political and election debate - Elections in Surrey 2009

We are also ready for election results for Surrey
They will be published on the election night on 4th of June as we receive information  you will be able to comment on these results please also follow @surreyonline on Twitter for more updates

Special board is also dedicated to MEP elections - we have to say not a popular one up to the moment

All that effort to discover how sophisticated  are our politicians are.
US presidential  campaign from 2008 proved that Online environment is a very effective and convincing way of political debate with voters.
Lets check how our own politicians and local activist are interested in using Internet for these Surrey Elections 2009
Our website was visited by over 10000 visitors in April and we think Internet is a good tool for very badly damaged political world to express themselves and commit to local community problems.
We believe the biggest challenge now is to get people voting.
People  are simply fed up by scandal after scandal, corruption and other unpleasant fights up there and convince them that they are voting for their town during this elections is the biggest chellange for all candidates.
If you not certain whether you should vote or not in these elections remember that this time you are not voting for party you are voting for your community.
Forget Tory, Labour, LibDem vote for people who's program says things connected to your own backyard.

And if few months, years time before going to the polling station again do not forget to check how your candidate performed regarding his promises.

Good Luck to ... Surrey
