Famous Surrey Residents and Celebrities

Received 0 Comments

Recently we could hear couple of news from the fame alley. Surrey was mentioned couple of times on glamorous magazines pages. Shilpa Shetti moved to one of the estates (St Georges Hill in Weybridge). Thanks to Theo Phipitis Surrey Business Awards gained popularity and celebrity mentor is also seen around from time to time.

Surrey used to have very famous residants and well known people were always associated with South West London suburbs. Recently however few things changed.
Is Surrey loosing precious "front page" residents due to increasing tax changes and other economic reasons?
The Rollings Stones (Posh Rockers from Richmond:-), Richard Branson, John Lennon they all used to live in Surrey but recently when Jason Button moved away due to tax reasons things seams to be getting worst and worst.

Celebrity Impact on Surrey local community has been always huge.
I remember walking down Queens Road Weybridge couple of years ago and without relisation I said "Good Morning" to know person - it was Rod Steward I relaised that when I saw him later that day giving live interview on TV. I thought it was man I must know from local shop or something like that but this shadow of fame seems to play an important role in towns like Weybridge.
Apart from funny accidents celebrities, famous people and showbiz stars have a great impact on our local econnomy.
They attract property investors, reach but not famous residents. Nice mansion in private estate can generate up to 20 full time posts not even mentioning temporary/agency staff responsible for events, security etc.
Local services  are very likely to generate extra income thanks to famous people .
If we realise that most of the rich and famous do not cook on daily basis, clean up their houses, do gardening we are ending up
Local PR agencies, fitness trainers, catering services and yacht brokers are on the first line of duty.
