Two students from Kingston University have become the center of an online hit with their new advert. the advert in question is HP Invent, a minute-long video, shot live and sped up 9,000 per cent to synchronise with a dance soundtrack.
The students, Tom Wrigglesworth and Matt Robinson, took about six weeks to make the film. It was one of four projects from Kingston University to be highly commended at the recent D&AD Student Awards, placing the university in joint second place of all UK student entries which is great news for Surrey.
Mr Robinson, 22, said: Our brief was to present an idea which promotes the Hewlett Packard Workstations ability to bring to life anything the creative mind can conceive. So in our film the HP Workstation is the brain behind the operation, conducting a visual symphony in which the printers become the orchestra.
The video has won awards, is already a hit on Twitter and has had more than 66,000 hits on YouTube.
