If your thinking of something to do for the weekend that has something for everyone from fine wine and food and a generally good ‘craic’ing atmosphere, then look no further as just off the A3, Sandown Park Racecourse gates are open to welcome you into a weekend of Irish ‘mania’!

 An Irish themed weekend of racing is to take place at Sandown Park Racecourse on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th June. So if you fancy a weekend of watching top racing with first class flat horses, top flat jockeys, getting top tips from an Irish panel of racing experts, listening to the racing from an experienced Irish commentator, eating traditional Irish food, have the chance of winning a fantastic weekend away in a Relais & Chateaux hotel in Ireland and have a day of guaranteed fun and entertainment, then you should book your tickets for this weekend now.

In addition to the fantastic flat racing on offer there will be a host of entertainment on the course.  The famous Guinness trailer will be providing plenty of the original ‘black stuff’, there will be an Irish theme in each of the restaurants with speciality dishes such as Beef & Guinness sausages served with Champ, Irish Shepherd’s Pie, Blackwater Smoked Salmon and a delicious board of Irish Cheeses being served to all the racegoers. After the last race of the day on Saturday, racegoers should make their way to Esher Hall where a live Irish Band called ‘Father Ted’s’ will be playing.
